Beautiful-World War One Era Pillow Cover-U S S Louisiana Dated 1918-U S Flags:

Up for offers is a 20 x 20 inch heavy wool cover that I guess is a pillow cover.
Probably for decoration only.
The top of it is only open eight inches,
and I would think it would be open all the way
across if it was to hold a pillow.
Maybe it should not be open, and has just come apart there.
If so I do not know what it would have been made for or used for,
but it is a great item fro the World War Two era.
The U S S Louisiana was a Battleship during this 1918 period.
As you can see, it has two small Flags,
both with 13 stars, and there are 13 stars under the two Flags,
12 white and one red.
This would be a great piece to frame and hang in your rec room.
I see one little hole in the gold section,
and it isn\'t all the way through.
