BEAUTIFULLY FADED FLORAL ANTIQUE FRENCH SHABBY CHIC BOUTIS QULIT 6ft x 7ft c1900:

A soft cotton faded floral antique French boutis quilt. Filled with cotton batten this quilt has different patterned whole cloth to either side which has been machine stitched on in large rosettes and petite cushions - this fabric dates to around 1900. However on closer inspection there appears to be an older quilt underneath with glimpses of a red toile. This often happens when the fabric begins to wear - rather than throw it away the quilt is saved by replacing the worn areas.

Condition:

Small rust spots, some worn areas on the edges which could be easily replaced, softly faded on both sides - please see all photographs. This has been freshly laundered and is ready to use.

This is heavy around 4.5 kilos before packing
