From our collection is a beautifully framed G.A.R. discharge paper of Franklin F. Shirey of Berks County, PA,
Co. K 179th Regiment, PA Volunteer Infantry, who was honorably discharged on July 24, 1863.
It was presented to his wife, Rebecca and her children, Sally and Daniel, on November 15, 1902.
This framed piece measures 35\" by 29\".
