This is an antique campaign ribbon from the 1888 United States Presidential election.Benjamin Harrison and Levi Morton were running and won the offices of President and Vice President.
The ribbon is Gold in color with a burgundy stripe and on it \"JEWELERS HARRISON AND MORTON 1888\"The bottom fringe I believe to be tiny metal coils.
**The coil fringe is coming off on the one side.**There are signs of mildew on both sides of the ribbon.
