First flight cover, Imperial Airways, from Hamilton, Bermuda to New York aboard the flying boat \"CAVALIER\". Posted June 15th, 1937, and flown June 16th, this cover has a first flight cachet as well as the \"BERMUDA - U.S. SERVICE/R.M.A. \"CAVALIER\"/FIRST FLIGHT\" marking in red. Back stamped in New York, New York on June 16th, 1937, the original correspondence is still with the cover. The letter, dated June 14th, has the letter head of \"U.S.S. Empire State/Training Ship\". As can be seen from the front and back scans of the cover the perforations of two stamps extend slightly above the top of the cover. Minimum offer is $9.95.
