Beswick Beatrix Potter 1997 Large Gold 50th BP-9c Peter Rabbit Benjamin Bunny Tiny unglazed area (length 1.5 mm) just above Peter Rabbit\'s left foot.

Pair of Beswick/Royal Doulton Beatrix Potter BP-9c large size gold edition figurines, part of a limited edition series issued in 1997 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Beatrix Potter figures from the John Beswick Studios. Handmade in England.

Both in original boxes with Certificate of Authenticity for the pair (numbered 840 of 1947).Figurines have been stored away (in non-smoking Environment) since early 2000s.

Lovely large figurines in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. Peter Rabbit (LBPBPG 1832, height 17.5 cm) has gold buttons on his jacket, and Benjamin Bunny (LBPBPG 1845, height 15 cm) is holding gold shoes. There is a tiny unglazed area (length 1.5 mm) just above Peter Rabbit\'s left foot (to rear of figurine).

Each ornament is marked on base in gold lettering including:

- Beswick Ware signature stamp (made in England)

- Name of figurine

- Limited edition description and numbering
