This is a fine sterling gravy boat made by Bigelow, Kennard & Co. of Boston sometime between 1869 and 1922, when the company was closed. It is approximately 10.4 Troy Oz. and measures 4.5\"h x 7.125\" x 4\". It is in very good to excellent condition, with only a few minor scratches. It is marked \"Bigelow, Kennard & Co. Sterling Makers\" on the bottom. The design is simple, yet elegant, as you can see from the photos. The company was known for making and selling high quality luxury items and today their earlier silver pieces are highly collectible.
