This is a vintage (circa 1948) record player (78 RPM) and is constructed of tin, litho and plastic.
When plugged in turntable works (rotates) and all the lights flash (as designed). After a few seconds you hear the amplifier (original 2 tube amp) kick in and you can hear a low hum type sound through the speaker, the record arm is die cast metal and has a some paint chips and the phone cartridge is there but it is missing a needle so we cant test it any further - dont know if the amp hum sound is normal so assume the amp will need a rebuild - its tiny as you can see in the pics.
What is really nice is the plastics are in nice condition - see the pics and there are no burn marks from the lights that you see on other Jr. Jukes for sale. There is some rust spots and paint wear on the top and sides so please review the pics carefully before offerding.
Keep in mind this is an antique, 60+ years old so assume it may need some type of repair or part replacement, specifically the amp and elect. cord that plugs into the wall. No warranty or returns.
