Some time ago we were lucky enough to have stumpled across the estate sale of a NJ based road salesman for Mont Blanc. This is one of the last pens from that lot.

Here is a fine vintage Montblanc Meisterstuck (\'Masterpiece\') No. 149 fountain pen.
The cap is threaded and closes securely. The nib is 14 karat gold as well, and is the \'M\' type, with finely engraved designs for an added touch of elegance. This is a very handsome writing utensil, by a fantastic maker. The pen is in great condition. It has no cracks, chips, or other damages. The end of the pen unscrews partially, presumably this is the mechanism for filling the internal well with ink. Not tested with ink. The nib is in great shape, with no bending or splitting. It looks to not have been put into service, but we are by no means experts in the pen field, so this piece is being sold as you see it. The pen is marked Montblanc Meisterstuck No. 149 around the body, and Germany around the gold band near the top of the cap. The top of the cap has the white star Montblanc symbol.
The nib is marked 4810 \'M\' as well as 14k, Montblanc, and 585. The pen is about 5 7/8 inches long.
