Bobby Fischer and Soviet Team signed first day letters:
$4000.00

Two pairs of first day envelopes from the 1962 Olympiad in Varna, Bulgaria. Two of the envelopes are signed by the whole Soviet Team, which at the time had three former and one future world champions on it: Botvinnik, Petrosian, Tal and Spassky. Also on the team were two very strong grand masters: Keres and Geller. The other two envelopes are signed by the 19 years old Robert Fischer, who famously almost defeated on first board Botvinnik. These envelopes were property of the Bulgarian GM Nikola Padevsky who played with Fischer on board one. The envelopes are in very good shape with well preserved stamps from the Olympiad. Selling each pair for $2500, or all four envelopes for $4000.
