This beaded panel from a baby carrier--see the last picture--measures 14 by 11 inches and is presently mounted on some burlap type material measuring 20 inches square. The beaded panel is lightly tacked to the burlap with thread and I will remove it from the panel for shipping unless requested to send the item attached to the burlap. To send it in its present framed condition I will charge another $20 shipping. The free shipping only applies to the beaded panel by itself or the beaded panel with its burlap backing. The first picture shows the entire beaded panel. The second picture shows it in its present mounting (which is how it has been hanging in our house for over 20 years). The third picture is just a closer view of the quality of the beadwork. The fourth picture has a white paper arrow pointing to an area where there is some bead loss near the tiger\'s leg. This area is small and not really noticeable unless pointed out. The fifth picture has another arrow showing a place where there are either a few missing beads or the area was never beaded. The sixth also shows a small bead loss area. These are tribal items and if they are in perfect condition they were probably made for the tourist market. This item was originally acquired from a well-known Indonesian art dealer who knew the language and used to travel to the area a couple of times a year--he is now retired. It is a nice piece at a nice price because we are getting old and need to start getting rid of our collection of ethnic art. The design on the beadwork is very typically Dayak but I will leave it up to you to look it up. Original tribal art for an ethnic art collection or a textile arts collection.
