This Chick Salt color is called Purple Fizz Carnival . It is a transparent light purple color with a Carnival or Iridized finish. This color was made on Dec 18, 2000 and was the 176th color overall made in the Chick Salt. Has Boyd\'s signature Diamond B marking inside the basket. (The Diamond B marking surrounded by 4 lines, indicating this item was produced during their 5th five years of operation).

Made in the USA, Boyd Glass is located in Cambridge, Ohio. Boyd made a limited number of items in each color they produced, never repeating the same color in a given mould. Boyd Glass recently stopped producing glass making their products even more collectable.

I was a Boyd Glass dealer between 1995 and 2012. I purchased this Chick Salt in 2000 and it has been safely packaged and stored in a box since it was new. Comes from a smoke free home. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
