Swaps was sculpted by Maureen Love and makes a terrific sport horse, with excellent poise and conformation. Kathy Curtis is no longer in the hobby, but in her brief career as a hobby artist because well known on the East Coast, winning several NAN Championships and Top Tens with her custom work. Kathy painted in oils and achieved glowing, smooth finishes. This particular piece has detailed appaloosa spotting, including tiny individual white hairs, mottling, striped hooves, a lightly frosted tail, and expressive eyes. The spotting pattern is realistic and flows beautifully in the natural hair pattern. Please see his close-up photos to get a better idea of his immaculate workmanship!
