This White Turquoise Dry Creek Pendant by Native American Navajo Marita Benally Is Absolutely Beautiful! It is sometimes referred to as Sacred Buffalo because its\' as Rare as the \"White Buffalo.\" When this Turquoise was first found in the Dry Creek Mine near Battle Mountain, Nevada in 1993 no one was sure what it was. Afterfinding out it was so Hard, they decided to have it Assayed or Tested. It was True! It was really White Turquoise! The Shoshone Native American Indians are not known for their Jewelry work and because of this they started Trading the White Turquoise to theNavajos in Arizona and New Mexico. To this Date no other Veins of White Turquoise have been found Anywhere else in the World. Dry Creek Turquoise is NOT Color enhanced or Treated. It is \"Revered\" for its\' Light Whitish-blue Color. Most other blue Turquoise is Chaulk and is much too Soft to Cut. So that is what makes this Pendant soUnusual & quite Simply Beautiful.
