Colonial style Arts and Crafts fire starter set made in Hoboken, ca. 1900-1920. This beautiful and complete set has three pieces made of planished or wrought copper. The base and tapered square can with hinged lid and handle are planished hammered wrought copper and are stamped. The fire starter is made of wrought iron and has a ovoid ceramic head. The base is approximately 6 3/4 inches square and sits about 1 inch high on four legs. The can is 6 1/4 inches high and 3 3/4 inches square at the bottom and has a whole in the handle for hanging. The fire starter is 11 inches long with a 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inch long ceramic. All pieces are in excellent antique condition with only appropriate age and use wear (see photo close up for overall condition)
