Here we have a pair of wonderful 20th century(c. 1940\'s? portraits of a handsome couple. They are painted on canvas and a great deal of attention has been paid tothe framing of them both--have not seen that early bamboo framin like this in ages--when I was a boy one could see it in southern homes etc .
I am selling these as a pair as that is the way that I bought them at an upstate New York sale along with several other paintings that I will be listing later in the week. Other than what I have said--I know very little--except they are really well painted and very handsome couple.
