CIRCA 1915 SCARCE JEWISH NATIONAL FUND ZIONIST BEZALEL MEDAL

CA 1915 Jewish National fundZionist medal. Obverse: Palm trees, seven small stars and another larger.Beneath the larger star, in Hebrew, \"Keren Kayemet LeYisrael\" (JewishNational Fund). Reverse shows illuminated Menorah and at its fit, star and Lulav(Palm branch). Although unsigned, the style and lettering of this medal suggeststhat it is an early 1900\'s medal made by the Bezalel School of art inJerusalem. In very good museum quality condition, showing stunning details.A very worn example of this medal is being offered for sale atprestigious sale house specialized in Judaic medals (Search Google for:\"Jewish National Fund bezalel medal\"). This medal is absent from many JNF and Zionist collections that I\'ve seen. Made in around the year 1915, shortly after the JNF was founded.Bronze, 27 mm\' (32 mm\' including the loop at the top, w/o thering), 8.05 gr\'.
