Civil War letter written by 11th New Hampshire Infantry soldier William W. Fish on May 25, 1864 from Camp Sumpter Military Prison in Andersonville, GA.

The letter comprised of one page written in ink on one sheet of paper measuring approximately 8\" x 5\" is in fair condition toned with age and having stains, edge tears, and fold creases. The letter has been backed on another sheet of paper which has an advertising stamp.

ACCURACY OF DESCRIPTION, CONDITION AND IMAGES: The item is described as accurately as possible along with any condition issues. The images show the quality of the item as accurately as possible although because the images were taken using a camera with flash the resulting images may show bright spots or a shine, shadows or color tone variations from flash use and reflection.
