A wonderful civil war era quilt that\'s dated 1862 and signed Sallie A Bender.

Designed in the President\'s wreath in turkey red and green prints. Top two corners have stars and framed with floral and leaf pattern.

The quilting is lovely with hearts, stars, feathers, wreaths, motifs and more.

Measurements: 86 x 85 inches

Hand quilted 8 stitches per inch. Edges are turned and hand sewn. Batting is thin. The applique is hand sewn.

Some age/water spotting and age yellowing.

Never used or washed.

Collected in Bucks County Pennsylvania.
