Original civil war tin type photograph of wounded soldier with arm behind blood-stained shirt. I\'m not an expert on civil war uniforms so I\'m not sure if he is a union or confederate soldier. Hand tinting and gold touched buttons. This photo is how I procured it, without a frame. The image is light and crispy clear. The back is clean and free of corrosion or defects. There is a shallow scratch across the picture surface which does not go penetrate below the Japan varnish finish.
