    • Kamil Kubikisa well knownImpressionistand a mostgifted artist with a rich international history. After traveling throughout the world, heand his newwife eventually settled into New York City\'s world of art, establishing a gallery inside the Plaza Hotel.First Lady, Barbara Bush and her daughter were in New York when her husband was with the United Nations andhappened to wander into this new Gallery of Art.She fell in love with the art she saw and left with a painting that was a gift from the artist, Yes, Kamil Kubik. She eventually invitedKamil to Washington DCto paint for the White House. It was the beginning ofhis long andvery prolific career in the U.S. As anImpressionist, he loved painting architecture, cities and their busy streets and landmarks. He was the official artist for several US OPENTournaments in GOLF and TENNIS. The CEO of the NY Stock Exchange invited Kamil topaint a series of Wall Street art....all ofwhich is spectacular. He also officially paintedfor the NY CITY MARATHON, YANKEE STADIUM, THE ST. PATRICK\'S DAY PARADE, The GREEK PARADE and the COLUMBUS DAY PARADE. There are numerous Central Park scenes and and NY City Landmarks. The head of the RITZ CARLTON HOTEL chain commissioned Kamil to paint every hotel they operated, world-wide. His bio is long and impressive and his art is the same. The few Kubik Originals that remain for sale are priced in the$3000 - $8000 range while his prints average at $500 with some lower and those that areunique, limited or veryrare are priced higher.Dealer prices are generally higher overall , for obvious reasons. The New York City Gallery Price for this particular print would be in the $800 - $900 range.

I am happy to help as best I can. Kamil and I werevery closefriends so I know a lot about the man and a little about art.I am not anartist myself or an art dealer. I am sellingart that Kamil has given to me through the years. He was extremely generousand most kind.I lovehis work and have it hanging in my home......everywhere. I never get tired of looking at any of it and love to share it with anyone who is interested. I promise I amhonest and fair and will try to help with whatever you need. I willalways share any history I may know about something I am selling.Kamil alwaysenjoyed sharing his story and after working closely with him for 15+ years, I do know a lot. If you really need to know somethingimportant or have a question I cannot address,I have a fewwonderfulpeople I can turn to forhelp and advice and will do my very best to help you, if possible.

About a year ago, Kamil Kubik died in his sleep. I do miss him so much.He had suffered a terrible stroke andfinally passed away from the complications that he had endured for quite anumber ofyears.I was blessed to be sitting with him the evening he died and will always consider thatto bea gift. I like to think that he knew I was therealthough he was sleeping soundly andcomfortably. I just held onto his hand while he slept. He wasalways filled with such energy but of course sleeping madetime pass. Once he could no longer paint......create these miraculous paintings, I believe he no longer cared much about living.......or dying for that matter He hadenjoyed a remarkable life thatmost people could only dream of living. He painted for Kings, Counts, Movie Starsand Presidents but enjoyed the people he met on the street most of all. As he painted, he wouldhand over his paintbrush to the person watching him paint.....laughing, inviting them to add something of their own to his masterpiece. I am truly stunned at just how much I miss him but he truly was aunique individual.I think his most important legacy to leave behind is not only hisremarkable body of work, but also thishuge, empty space that will forever remain empty. There was nobody like him.He was generous and kind and he was always happy to help anyone that needed him.He had answers to all the problems of the world and planned on fixing every single one of them during his lifetime. Sadly, he was gone before he ever had a chance to try. I have included a bio of his life that you can read if you just scroll down.Happy offerding
