Ca 1860\'s CIVIL WAR 1/4 PLATE TINTYPE ARMED UNION SOLDIER with SACK COAT
Offered is a Civil War 1/4 plate size (just a little smaller at 2 11/16\" x 3 15/16\") of an armed soldier. The soldier is wearing a sack coat and has on a style of Officers Slouch Hat. Looks like the letter \"H\" on the center of the Slouch Hat. Tin comes without case, glass, preserver, or mat.
There are a few minor bends in the main body of the tin. Some loss of emulsion in a few spots, but it is stable and not losing additional. Some noted nicks and scratches to the surface with crazing. It apparently was in a case at one point, as there is circular wear from a mat on the surface. Noted rust front & verso. Please review all scans or photos for details.
