A beautiful red shadepulley Hanging Hall Oil Lamp.

The frame is a coppery or pink red brass patina,has a2 chain and top wheel pulley systemtopull down the font holder for lighting.Frame not signed,ca. 1890s - 1900.

Hanging lamp also includes a beautiful red satin glass puffy floralmotif shade.Fabulous shade with some light init. Likely a Pittsburgh or Fostoria Glass shade.

Lamp measures about 18\" long from topto finial when retracted. The font holder pulls down about 10\" when extending.Ball shade measuresabout 8\" tall and wide.Lamp will be disassembled for safe shipping.

Lamp is in excellentoriginal condition. Excellentfinish on the metal, some slight bending on the bottom cup,thepulley extension system working fine.A socket was added in place of the oil font, and the wire is cut.Theshade is rough cut and ground on the top and bottom rim, has plenty of roughness and flaking there, no chips or cracks. Shade is now somewhat cleaner than it came out of the house, the new owner may want to accomplish a more thorough cleaning.
