World War Two homefront pin for the British War Relief Society. Made by the exclusive firm Cartier in New York. 1 5/8 inches tall by 1 1/4 inches across the white scroll. Two piece construction connected by two rivets. The applied lion does move a little bit as the rivets float a little to protect the enamel on attachment. Made in brass, enameled in red, white, blue and gold plated. Maker marked on the reverse side \"CARTIER\". Pinback with a roll locking pin catch.
