Case XX USA 1979 Pocket Knife, Rare, Paisley type etch:

Only one like it I\'ve ever seen. 3 1/4 in closed with 2 stainless steel spear blades and both with a good snap. The front tang on the main blade has the block letter CASE XX STAINLESS USA stamp and a single dot, a 1979 issue. The rear tang of the secondary blade is stamped 278. The knife has gold colored metal handles with a combination flake textured/smooth finish on the front with a paisley type design etch. Yep I really said that, a paisley type design etch. The center of the front scale has a smooth oblong surface that I assume is meant for engraving. Dad, Mom, or maybe someone\'s initials perhaps, whatever, you get it. The rear scale has a smooth finish but for 3 small bits of etched scroll work. Both sides have acquired a nice light patina which I left undisturbed but for a light wiping with a soft cloth to remove finger prints. Never sharpened or carried. The box shows some age but it has the care paper with it. Nice little knife, so ugly it\'s cute. Thanks for looking. No overseas shipping. Check out our others.
