What you are offerding on is a Case XX, USA, 523-5, SSP (Stainless Steel Polished), Stag Handle Hunting Sheath Knife. The tang stamp indicates it was assembled between 1965–1980. It is approximately 9 inches long, including handle. There are no cracks or chips in the attractive Stag handle. There are a couple ofsmall handling abrasions on the metal end of the handle (reference photos). The face of the blade has the phrase “Case xx Razor Edge” etched into it. It has a “Case XX” leather sheath and the front edge has a protective metal strip extending down and wrapping around the lower end. The knife is in as new condition and has never been sharpened or carried. It has been stored in a cool dry Environment. A nice example of a quality vintage Case product.
