From Walt Disney’s 1946 animated feature film, “Make Mine Music,” comes one of America’s most beloved fictional sports heroes. This figurine was part of the Walt Disney Classic Collections series “American Folk Heroes.” It was the 1996 Annual issue of the Walt Disney Collectors’ Society and was retired at the end of 1996. The figurine is 8¼” tall, 7 1/2” w, 6”d. This Limited Edition retired figurine is bright and vividly colored with excellent detail right down to the slugger with his puffed out chest, bright red hair, a wide confident grin on his face, powerful muscular arms and a big meaty bat. The figurine base is in the shape of home plate. The Issue price was $395.
