Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Montblanc 146! This pen has been the Flagship of my vintagecollection for many years now but, due to priorities in life, it\'s time itfinds a new home. The cork has recentlybeen replaced and I have stored the pen in such a way so the cork always stayshydrated and in good shape. The telescopingpiston functions great and really makes you appreciate the engineering thatwent into these vintage Montblanc pens!It is a celluloid pen and, as I tried to show in the pictures, the inkwindow is still transparent! There istypical wear and tear for the age of the pen, but it works great and is anawesome writer. I can\'t say for sure but it looks like there may be a hairlinecrack on the cap lip (as shown in pictures).If it is a crack, and not just a scratch, it\'s very stable and may haveeven been repaired/stabilized previous to me owning the pen. The piston turning knob is marked with 146 onone side and B on the other. The nib isan awesome writer with nice spring to it!I would say it writes more towards a fine line, not sure if the nib wasreplaced years ago, but it does look to be correct for the period of thepen.
