They have been tested to make sure they work, and are set for three-way bulbs. The ceramic part is 7\" wide, and the base is 6.25\" wide. One of the plastic necks has a crack in it, and the other lamp has some crazing in the ceramic near the top of the neck. Both metal bases show tarnish around the bottom edge. Neither ceramic parts have chips or cracks, but one lamp has a couple of what look like paint spots. The finials are made of (GS 6.6.6 (526))
