Chaim Gross (1904-1991) was a Jewish American sculptor. Gross was a faculty member of the New School and an Academian in the National Academy of Design. This modernist sculpture was made by Gross as a study for a monumental sculpture in New Jersey. The sculpture is signed on the bottom and mounted on a wood stand. It is the thirteenth of an edition of 20. The sculpture has a tag from Forum Gallery on Madison Avenue in New York which dates it to 1979. The sculpture is in very good condition.
