Up for sale is this silver inkwell. It is approx. 9.5 inches long. It has a heavy glass well with silver lid. It bears the CCP hallmark as well as the Lion Mask and I markings. I am told it is from London and dates back to the early 1900s. Approx 133g The tray has a four footed design with a pierced tray. Elegant rolled ends add charm to the lovely vintage piece.

The inkwell itself is a heavy glass with a silver flip top lid bearing the same hallmarks. Under very close inspection interior has a scratch and a few flea bites in the glass itself.

This set polishes to a shiny white silver.

Item is on consignment from a local estate.

I would rate the item in Very good vintage condition.
