Charles Dickens : A Child\'s History of England 3 Volumes of which volumes 1&2 are Early Editions and Volume 3 Is a First Edition 1854 Published by Bradbury and Evans London....(see pictures)Condition Of Books: A Good Only set of three with Vols 1&2 early editions of 1859 and 1860,Vol 3 is a First Edition of 1854.Neat previous owner\'s name to vols 2&3 and with some hinge weakness to Volume 1 with tape repairs to the first 6 pages and some scuffing to spine of the cloth boards,gilt title lettering to spine with further gilt embossed decoration to the upper covers.Marbled endpapers to each volume with all edges marbled.There is one bookplate present to the front pastedown of Vol 3.There are engraved frontispieces to each volume.There is some wear to vols 2&3 but only light wear and with one ink stain mark to the rear cover of Vol 2.Some weakness to pages 98 at gutter join on Vol 1.The contents internally are generally clean with an odd sporadic foxing spot present to each volume.The third volume is considerably darker in it\'s colour tone,so I suspect it has been a set assembled together at some stage in it\'s life.Animportant work by Dickens on the History of England,3 volume set small 8vo Vol 1 210pp vol 2 214pp and vol 321pp
