Hand signed etching by Cecil Forbes originally sold through “Dickens’ Old Curiosity Shop”, London, England, UK. This beautifully detailed chalcographic style print depicts the famous architectural London landmark \'The Old Curiosity Shop\', which was immortalized by Charles Dickens. Pencil signed by Cecil Forbes in the lower right margin. Accompanied by certificate certifying it was purchased at the Old Curiosity Shop with a little history which reads “The Shop was built in 1567, and is one of the few remaining examples of Tudor architecture in London. The Old Curiosity Shop was immoratalised by Charles Dickens in the novel of that name, as the home of Little Nell and The Grandfather.” Image is 6\" x 4\" and printed on paper approximately 8\" x 6\", and displayed within a manila folder. Paper and image are excellent. Accompanying certificate has a folded corner. Thank you for looking.
