Beautiful Antique20th Century French Textile Painting .Description:This incredibily charming antiquegouachepaper painting was created in Franceduring the early 20th century and used in the development of a woven textile. The design features basketsof stylized flowers and leaves surrounded by sprangs of other flowers, buds and leaves, some of them incomplete. The colors includes toner of teal, blue, green, wine, dusty rose, terracotta and slate on a beige colored ground.The painting measures36inches in width by33.5 inches in length.Basket Decal - 17\"W X 14.5\"H

Condition:
Slightly damaged. There are cracks and tears throughtout the piece, there are several tears alongside the borders. There are 8 pieces of tape remnants throughout the piece. The damage tears have been repaired on the back with scotch tape. There is one significant U shaped tear in the left hand corner, that has been repaired on the back with tape. There is a markered numbers in the top left hand corner \"9756\". There are color blocks in the bottom right corner with pencil marks. There are significant vertical creases on the both side of the piece.Please see photos for reference.All fabrics, wallpapers and paintings are sold \"as is\".
