This colorful card features a beautiful lithographic illustration provided by Ellen Clapsaddle (her signature appears at the lower-right corner). It\'s a look at a post-Victorian era boy sitting in a chair. He\'s flanked by boughs of holly. The scene is framed by a gold border. Give yourself a treat and supersize the images so you can see the wonderful detail on this card! The artistry is really great and the colors are very vivid.

Printed in pre-WWI Germany, and published by S. Garre, this beautifully embossed original and authentic postcard has beenpostally used, and has a 1909 cancellation across the one-cent stamp on the divided back.
