This important historic book relates the 1947 of Palestine\'s Chief Rabbi to Europe and trying to bring back children that were hidden amongst Catholic Monastaries and people, as well as alleviating the plight of the Holocaust survivors who were stuck in Europe after the war due to Britian\'s White paper.
On his journey, the Chief Rabbi met with the Pope, dignatories, Jewish leaders in Europe and Asia. His 7 months produced results and there are many stories of how he helped save many Jewish children from becoming lost forever to the Jewish people. This is a first hand account of those turbulent times.
Book is called THE JOURNEY TO SAVE (Shvat 1946-Tishrei 1947). Contains 104 pages, Jerusalem 1957 (printed 10 years after the events took place!). Good condition, paperback.
