This Chinese Cinnabar vase is decorated with character scenes and floral designs, It is of high quality with fine detail. The vase dates from either the late 1700s to early 1800s. It measures approximately 14 1/2 inches tall, 8 inches across the middle at its widest point. It is marked on the bottom but part of the characters are missing. There are actually two scenes which are repeated for a total of 4 scenes. The first one is of a warrior coming home with a woman waiting for him in his bed and the second one is of an older gentleman in the bedroom with two women.
It is in generally good condition considering its age. There is some chipping (one piece missing at bottom and another piece missing from one of the scenes. There is also some minor cracking. Please email me if you have any questions or need further pictures. Thanks!
