An 1886-dated Chinese-Export Silver cricket trophy (4.25\" high) with silver-gilt interior. Awarded by the \"Hong Kong Athletic Sports 1886\" to F.H.O. Wilson for \"Throwing Cricket Ball 109 yards\". Maker\'s mark: \"S.S\" and Chinese characters. Late China-Trade period. Some tarnish but overall in very good condition noting a minor ding at rim of base.
