Design Elements: Three piece silver repoussé tea service (teapot, sugar caddie and creamer pitcher) by 19th Century Shanghai silversmith Luen Wo. Each piece with dragons, flaming pearl and clouds design on a finely stippled ground. The covers of the sugar and teapot with repoussé bamboo design. All handles and teapot spout in bamboo style. Foot of each piece stamped “LUENWO” and with Chinese character maker’s marks.
