A beautiful cigar or jewellery box made by Zee Wo c1930, applied with bamboo stalks and leaves, hammered background, with a vacant cartouche on the lid. The hinge works perfectly with an excellent and precise close to the box. This cedar wood lined solid silver hallmarked is exceptional quality from a rare maker. Zee Wo items are often fairly plain, making this unusual to have such prominent embossing on the bamboo and leaves.
