Has an impressed seal \'Confederate States of America\'. Size: 3 7/8\" by 2 3/8\". Has rub wear and spotting on photo (see photos), but in good condition otherwise, no tears; back of photo with photographer imprint and autograph is clean and unstained. Nathan Bedford Forrest(July 13, 1821 – October 29, 1877) was alieutenant generalin theConfederate Armyduring theAmerican Civil War. He is remembered both as a self-educated, innovativecavalryleader during the war and as a leading southern advocate in the postwar years.
