Civil War Centennial 1961-65 Hartford Insurance Lee/Lincoln Collectible:

This collectible was produced by the Hartford Insurance Co during the Civil War Centennial. Apparently the Harford insured both President Lincoln and General Lee at the time. Copies of both policies are part of the package: The Lincoln facsimile fire insurance policy is dated and signed by him on Feb 8, 1861. The premium is twenty-four dollars for a $3200 policy. The Lee policy is signed by him and dated Oct 17, 1859. He insures a \"Dwelling House\" for $5000 and a \"Barn\" for $800. The light scan does not to the documents justice they are actually much clearer than shown. The photos of both gentlemen are included as is the original envelope sent by the Hartford (seen is scan).
