This quilt is from circa 1860-1880
Beautiful pattern of cherry baskets, each in a different fabric.
This quilt has a white background and over dyed green borders.
It is hand quilted at 6 stitches per inch.
It has treadle appliqued basket handles.
It is treadle bound.
It measures 65\" L x 77\" W
Near mint condition. We found a teeny (grain of rice size) surface hole near the edge, a tiny open seam in binding, and an occasional small age spot noted. (See photos.)
A wonderful early quilt to collect and display!
