Rare Civil War Soldier CDV Identified to 2nd Lt. David Birrell Company K 24TH MICHIGAN VOLUNTEERS OF THE iron brigade.He was from Detroit Michigan and this also has a J.J. Bardwell photographer stamp on the back.Mr. Birrell was Killed in Action at Fredricksburg Virginia December 12th 1862.This is identified by other photos of him on the net and there is also information about him on ancestry and this photo also 100 per cent ID.He was born in Ireland and is buried in Detroit Michigan.This is very nice condition just a little bit of age to be expected.Relisted due to non paying buyer.
