Up for sale is this wonderful CDV photo of a Civil War Captain soldier, in full formal dress w/ kepi hat, belt and staff and field officers sword. The photograph was taken by Theo Evers whose place of business was on Arch Street, in Philadelphia. This soldier was probably from a Pennsylvania regiment, possibly Militia. The photo measures about 3 3/4 of an inch X 1 3/8 of an inch. The image is clear with rank and uniform pieces fully visible. No rips, bends or tears but a small ink stain on bottom left corner (see pictures).
A wonderful addition to any Civil War, Soldier photo, general military, or general photograph collection.
