Civil War Union Army soldier tin type photo. A letter he sent to his wife dated Feb. 2, 1863. Two \"R\" Rifleman buttons from his uniform. The soldier\'s name was Jesse Fillmore Brady. His handwriting is not the greatest. Apparently he was with the Army of the Potomac. Looks like \"camp near Falmouth, VA\" before the date. There is an imprint at the top left corner, maybe from a wax seal stamp. The buttons are 3/4\" diameter with \"Treble Gilt\" on backs.
