Set of Israel Agora coins from first year of issue 1960. Beautiful set of circulated Israel Agora coins from 1960 in excellent condition. Description The IssuingIn 1960 Israel government decided to change the division of the Lira into 100 Agora units.
Initially four coins have been issued with values of 1, 5, 10 and 25 Agora.
It was only in 1963 that coins of half Lira and Lira were coined.
This Agora set was removed from circulation between 1980-1984 to be replaced with the Shekel set of coins.
