Up for sale is a completed, hand craftedCross Stitch Enhanced picture. It is called ColorArt and features a scene printed on fabric which is then embellished with some type of embroidery. In this picture of rose azaleas are shown in a beautiful composition. The picture is printed onto fabric and the flowers are enhanced with cross stitches so that they pop out of the scene.

This is from the JCA Needle Treasures Collection and based on a design by Carmel Foret.The size is 13 1/2 x 15 1/2. The picture is mounted onto plywood backing and has a nice white frame. The back is professionally finished with craft paper and ready to hang.

Included in the listing is a picture of a kit which is shown for reference only as this item does not come with the kit..

This picture was a hand crafted model to a needlepoint kit which would have been on display in a store to show the prospective buyers how the item will look when finished. It was covered in plastic when displayed to protect the picture. The plastic was removed to take the picture.I was able to acquire quite a few of them; some were just matted and others framed.

Ilearned recently that the name on many of these finished pieces identified thecompany as JCA Inc.(Johnson Creative Arts) with an address in Massachusettes. They evidently ceasedoperations and will not be making/distributing anymore needlecraft kits. Thesefinished piece from kits are already hard to find and will only be offeredoccasionally perhaps on the internet. Per the JCA website:
