Thank you for looking and be sure to visit our store—Finehomecollectibles

About us: We are a busy couple who downsized from a very large home to a much smaller dwelling. We opened our store last year because we have many lovely things in our personal and family estate that we are slowly listing for sale. We plan to run our family operated store until we have completed our downsizing. We usually are able to respond quickly to questions and offers, but there may be times when we cannot respond immediately. Rest assured that we are extremely conscientious in our dealings and will greatly appreciate your patience if a problem should arise. Although we are dealing with many diverse items we strive to properly research and reasonably price our postings. With that said, we are very receptive to rational and reasonable counter offers, especially with sound rationale and when reference to comparables is available. We frequently post new items so visit us often. Believe me when I say that we have many more items to list.

We take pride in our packing, handling, and shipping, and attempt to use the most appropriate method with regard to the item. If a buyer has a preferred method of shipping or a question regarding handling and shipping costs, we are certainly open to negotiation in that regard. Many of the items that we list are works of art. For example, oil paintings sensitive to heat and Lalique crystal items that are extremely fragile—items requiring special packing and handling. These treasures require special attention with regard to size, composition, frailty, distances involved, etc. As a consequence, we believe it prudent to work with the buyer in order to accommodate any special requirements and preferences when we arrange for shipment. Although we expect the buyer to pay the associated costs, we are prepared to coordinate with local shipping professionals and are open to negotiation depending on the particular piece involved. Our goal is to charge only the amount required for shipping and handling and will refund any major excess overcharge to the buyer.

Return policy: We attempt to fully describe any flaws in our items and show them in the photographs if possible. If a problem develops outside of these guidelines and the item is returned within 14 days, we will refund the selling price and the return shipping costs.
