Thegenuine blue 10 cent Jeffereson Davis stamp was issued in 1863. It was initially printed by Archer & Daly of Richmond and later also by Keatige & Ball of Columbia, SC.The stamp is unused with some original gum, but has a thin center due to careless hinge removal. See the picture of the back of the stamp.
In 1935, an entrepreneur printed 12 lithographed imitations of all the national Confederate Stamps. They are known as the \"Springfield Facsimilies\". Here is a complete set.
